The Village Cafe - Siem Reap

What a hidden little jewel! Totally a welcome remission from the normal hectic of Siem Reap. Great place to get an espresso and read a newspaper. Has the feeling of a relaxed jazz club in Havana. Everything here seems more about a dollar than what you could find somewhere in the city $2 for a design beer or a coffee instead of the standard $1), but this extra-buck goes clearly on providing such a great ambience and able to rent extremely courteous and English-speaking employees. Can't wait to come back in the evening to have a cocktail and listen to some live jazz music they have on Monday.

Very cool place and great food. Feel like in a jazz café somewhere in Europe. Decor and artwork provide a great experience. Take a look at this place for lunch or dinner.

Delicious food, beautiful cafe, well decorated in details. If you miss European cuisine this is right place.

This was my first time at the village cafe, I mainly came to watch the DJ who was performing there on the night. I only had a few drinks with a few friends but I really liked the place. Nice decor and a really friendly environment, the staff were great we never had to wait for our drink orders. I will definitely be going back again for a great night out.

Very quiet Saturday night...came here about 8pm on Saturday night thinking they would have something going on however this place had nothing going on and was really empty actually. I stayed short time for 1 drink and left.
