Beteseb - Silver Spring

I tried to get coffee at this restaurant. When I asked if they served coffee, I was told "one minute." When I came out of the restroom, she served me a cup of black coffee before I could even ask about what options they had or if I wanted it to go. When I mentioned that I wanted it to go, she said they didn't have that option. I was not very happy, but since she had already brought it to me, I decided to sit and drink it. When I asked for cream or milk, I was told they didn't have any. I was quite disappointed with the lack of options provided.

Met up with a close friend that I haven?t seen in 20 years and she recommended this Ethiopian restaurant. I haven?t had Ethiopian food in a long time bc I haven?t found a place where I?ve lived. If you?ve never had Ethiopian food, you have to try it. Don?t get scared not knowing what to order. We ordered the meat and vegetable platter that?s big enough to share. The food here was delicious! Situated near downtown Silver Spring, Beteseb is a charming Ethiopian eatery that offers delicious food. It is nestled in a bustling Ethiopian community, as evidenced by the many other Ethiopian restaurants and markets in the area. Located on a spacious corner spot, Beteseb is easy to spot and offers plenty of metered street parking.

I discovered that this restaurant was one of the top Ethiopian restaurants in the DC area, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. I have tried Ethiopian food at other restaurants before, but Beteseb impressed me the most, and I am eagerly looking forward to returning. We ordered the meat/vegetable combination platter, and every dish was incredibly flavorful. As someone who is conscious of cleanliness, I was pleased to see how spotless and well-maintained the restaurant was. The fact that it was packed with customers is a clear indication of the high quality of the food.

Loved this place!!! Tasty vegetable options, and tender, well-seasoned tibs, both spicy and regular. Friendly wait staff, clean restaurant. Will definitely come again!!!
