Matchbox - Silver Spring

The service was terrible. The chips with the spinach dip were pungent. The pesto pizza was covered in too much pesto. It tastes like weed. i'm not going back

The food is delicious, but unfortunately the customer service is terrible. My family and I have gone to the location three times hoping that there would be a change with the customer service. First time waiter was awesome, but we had an issue with our bill which can happen anywhere so we gave it another try. Second time, we were seated in the bar area, the waitress was working the bar and tables, she took a long time to come to our table to take the orders, the food took forever, we had to ask for water, utensils and napkins, and my waffles were hard and cold. My husband’s eggs were cold, he asked for refill on his coffee (never received it), just a horrible experience. So we decided to give it another try again! Today we were seated, took forever for someone to come to the table. We asked one of the waiters if someone was serving this section and he said he would get someone. He can back and said he would be assisting us. We placed our orders, the appetizers came out, we had no utensils or plates had to ask for those) took forever to get that. The food took forever to come out. I ordered the chicken and waffles again, asked that the waffles not be cooked hard waiter said ok), again they were hard, waiter never came back to the table to check on us walked pass our table didn’t acknowledge us), we had to ask others walking by for assistance with what we needed. Due to the poor service my husband lost his appetite. Three strikes your out!

Service was mediocre. I guess they didn’t expect it to be so busy and they only had one server for 6-7 tables. So the service was slow throughout. The hostess tried to help out to ease the burden on the server, but she was getting ran around.

The food was great! Only hiccup was 3/6 wings didn’t have much Buffalo sauce but other than that it was great per usual
