Bidra med feedbackI can't recommend this little jewel of a restaurant enough. My family and I have been going for years since I was a little girl. They are always so friendly, generous and efficient with their service. And the food is amazing and affordable, especially its fried zucchini! If you want great food served by great people, this is the place to go.
This place may not look like much but the food and service are great! My friend and I went there for dinner yesterday. The food has an authentic taste everything was delicious! Love this place.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. We were looking for an Italian place, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It had a cozy atmosphere, not overly fancy, just nice. The service was excellent, the Chianti was vibrant, and the antipasto platter was delicious. We also ordered fried calamari, which was lightly battered and nicely roasted—not too heavy on the breading and not overly crisp, which can often ruin it. I had the mussels in white sauce, and they were fantastic; the dish had great depth of flavor, was well-seasoned, and featured excellent pasta. I'm very pleased to have discovered this place not too far from home, and I will definitely return to explore more of the menu.
The ambiance outside could be enhanced with some Italian music to drown out the street noise, but the location in downtown Silver Spring is great. While we could have dined inside, the outdoor setting was lovely, especially with nice weather. The restaurant has a casual vibe, not overly classic or flashy, but it features white tablecloths and red cloth napkins, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back for more satisfying and delicious Italian cuisine, which offers quality without emptying your wallet.
I ordered takeout: Eggplant Parmigiana, Alfredo, and Calamari. Wow! The food was absolutely amazing. While I waited for my order, they offered us a delicious hot snack and some water, and I was really impressed by how friendly they were. The Calamari was perfectly seasoned and very tender. The portion size was excellent for the price—definitely worth the money. The Eggplant Parmigiana was well-seasoned and came with generous slices of eggplant. I loved that they used flat spaghetti noodles instead of the usual round ones, which held onto the sauce beautifully. What a fantastic place!
