Bidra med feedbackOnly have been here two times, each time being excellent! The ladies that run this little joint are so nice and attentive. The menu is pretty decent size for a smaller breakfast/lunch spot. The first time I went, I got the strawberry Nutella crape and it was super yummy and filling. The second time around I got the mozzarella panini and a peppermint mocha iced coffee. The inside seating was totally filled up but we got the whole outside patio to ourselves! It wasn't too hot because it's covered and there was a nice breeze. I definitely recommend trying it just once if you're in Simpsonville for breakfast.
Authentique French Creperie is located in Simpsonville, SC. It's been on my list of places to try for a while. I had the opportunity to try it with two of my family members. Authentique is only open Friday through Sunday. It is such a cute place. It's not very big, but would be ok for one to four people to dine. The inside is bright and cheerful with the table tops being an aqua/turquoise color. They have a nice selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch items. The lady's there are so nice, and I love their French accent. Today we came for a light dessert, I got the La Charlotte and my niece got the La Chocolat. The Charlotte is a crepe with sliced strawberries, powdered and crystal sugar and Chantilly cream. La Chocolat was a crepe with a chocolate drizzle, dusted in powdered sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Let me tell you presentation is everything, and they do it well with those crepes. I really enjoyed my crepe, and plan on coming back to try lunch.
Such a friendly, cute place. We all really loved our crepes! Especially fans of the sweet ones :
Very cute French spot. The location is charming and cozy inside. They cannot fit many people, so good place for a couple or 3-4 people. They mentioned that the outdoor space opens up much more seating during warmer months. We had both a savory and sweet crepe, and I had a panini. The food was very good and so was the service. I was surprised the panini was small, but figured maybe that's normal for French food rather than ginormous American portions I didn't leave hungry, so it was fine! We also tried the coffees and cocktails, which were good. All in all, would recommend!
Truly a wonderful dining experience in both atmosphere and taste. Both savory and sweet crepes are delicious. Options for gluten free. Their homemade caramel sauce is so delicious we practically lick the plate and would drink it by the cup if they let us!
