Chang An - Simpsonville

This place is strictly for takeout, but the Chinese food is quite good.

I visited this restaurant recently to try their takeout. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with a strong smell of cigarettes, which almost made me leave right away, but I decided to place an order instead. Unfortunately, the staff member I dealt with was quite unfriendly and had poor communication skills. It took a long time to get my order sorted out, and he kept trying to add extra charges for various items. Honestly, this restaurant might be better suited to being in China rather than the US. The cigarette smell was unbearable, and I definitely won't be returning!

To be honest, I was hesitant to order from here because of the negative reviews, but I must say the food was excellent. I decided to take someone's advice and order online, and everything I received was correct. It was the best meal I've had since moving to South Carolina. The fried chicken was decent, though I've had better.

They ordered and made something totally different than what I ordered so I left and they never gave me my money

Food was ok but not worth dealing with attitude. The Woman Cashier couldn’t comprehend a basic order (boneless rib combo instead of rice I wanted lo mein) and did not provide welcoming service because of it.
