Papa's Beer #2

I'm so done with this place. I've gotten take out like 4 times now from this location because it's convenient but never again. Carnitas portion of meat is NOT worth the price. My hard shell tacos fell apart by the time I got home. Today I ordered a small cheese dip and guacamole like I have other times. The cheese dip was the normal size. The guacamole was like literally a spoonful size.

It's a small restaurant and pretty crowded. Food was decent enough for the price. I will say they have really friendly and hospitable staff. If I was rating them on staff alone, they'd get more than 5 stars. Only reason for the 3 star review is I personally don't like small crowded spaces. But I guess it's crowded for a reason.

My first time going and I had a blast. They have a great staff. My server was on point. They even make the guacamole in front of you, and a salsa bar. Must come to and try.

We?ve been going here for years and while it?s still a good location. The food quality has gone down in recent years. I love the salsa bar options, they are always fresh and options for every taste. Beer is great, I got the medium which was a huge size! Here are a few issues we had however. The kids meal chicken tenders is a flattened chicken breast that?s just cut up. The chicken is so thin it?s not worth eating. I chose the combination of enchilada, tamale, and taco. The beef in the taco was seasoned really well but the overwhelming amount of lettuce was overkill. No cheese was added which it was suppose to come with. The tamale was one of the worst I?ve had in the area and sadly the enchilada wasn?t much better. Food for the cost was just not worth it and given there are so many Mexican restaurants in the area we will likely not be back. There are too many other places that offer better food to keep coming back here.

Our group had a good time. I had the Camerones Flores, it was great. The other guests were happy with their meals. Reasonable prices. $5 Margaritas, and they were huge. Lively decor really adds to the experience. The servers were really working hard; not sure if they were short staffed or not, but the length of time between table touches would seem so. I would recommend, and will certainly be back.
