Bidra med feedbackVery nice and juicy! Clean and full character! Very nice for the price. It offers a small breakfast and a dinner and a bar. My only suggestion is that the fine details such as lights, shades, bed was a bit lumpy and could use a funnel. The beds themselves were very nice and towels. Would stay back!
There for a wedding, stayed for two nights and had a great time. The restaurant/bar is a great place when you want to meet up with others from your party, whether to eat dinner or lunch, have some drinks, or start your day w the complimentary breakfast options. The rooms are very nicely decorated. Because the wedding was in this inn, the added convenience of having our room one floor up from the party was worth the price. Grounds are very nice, with seating outdoors to enjoy a beautiful day.
Comfortable room, if a bit small. Front desk was excellent. Nice pool. Service in Twigs Lounge, however was terribly uneven. Really spoiled our meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Simsbury Inn. We were there for a wedding with friends at The Riverview, which is conveniently located across the way. The hotel exudes a timeless colonial charm that's uniquely found in classic Connecticut establishments. It was very peaceful, and the rooms featured individual thermostats, allowing us to tailor the temperature to our comfort. Although we only stayed for one night, it coincidentally fell on Mother's Day, so their room service and restaurant/bar were closed. I didn’t hold that against them, especially since the town of Simsbury boasts lovely shops and unique restaurants nearby, all of which are absolutely delightful. We look forward to returning soon.
We stayed for two days for a New Year's wedding and rented 10 rooms for our family. Despite it being a busy weekend, the hotel accommodated us with an early check-in and a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. The never-ending supply of complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. Any lost keys were quickly replaced with no hassle. The King and Queen beds were very comfortable and supportive, while the Full-size beds were decent but smaller than the larger options. The heating system had a fan mode that was perfect for those who enjoy white noise. The seasonal decorations created a lovely atmosphere. All of the staff wore masks, but we could still see their smiles in their eyes. There were plenty of parking spaces available. When we arrived, we helped the bride and her bridesmaids stay dry as they headed to the limo. Even with all 96 rooms occupied by guests from three different weddings on New Year's Eve, we had no trouble sleeping that night. The breakfast restaurant received rave reviews from our group. We always choose Simsbury Inn when visiting the Simsbury/Hartford area, and this time was no exception. Overall, a great experience!
