Lim Chee Guan - Singapore

As expected, there was a lengthy queue leading up to Chinese New Year. The shop opens at 9 AM, and when I arrived around 9:10, my queue number was already 70, resulting in a wait of over three hours until it was finally my turn. During the CNY period, there’s a limit of 10 kg per person (500 grams per package). I bought their signature sliced products as well as the crispy floss, though the regular floss had sold out. In summary, if you're planning to purchase this before CNY, be prepared to wait in line. The taste is as good as always, and I would definitely buy again—though perhaps I’ll wait for a non-peak time to indulge my cravings.

This is the best bakkwa I've had in Singapore! Prices typically rise during Chinese New Year, but this year, they increased more than three weeks in advance to $36 for 500g. To enhance service and reduce waiting times, the minimum order has also been raised to 500g, instead of the usual 300g. I will definitely return after CNY to get more at a better price!

This has become an annual tradition for me, and I’m grateful for the nice weather and quick line. I arrived at 8:15 AM and found about 20 people ahead of me. The line moved quickly once the shop opened at 9 AM, and I had my order by 9:30 AM. The picture I attached was taken at 9:15 AM! A tip: the later you arrive, the longer the wait will be since most people come later. So, it’s best to get in line early, and you should be out in just over an hour. I had a similar experience last year too!

Overall Very Good ! Bought IN Jan 2021 : Taste still very good. Customer service is good. too. .Most important since i went so many weeks ahead of the Chinese new year, there is NO queue almost. Price is before the increase. I bought the Signature Slice. Good taste....

Super fast and efficient service, and decent queue time ~15 mins) Imo their bakkwa is one of the best in SG and pretty consistent. I haven't tasted this year's batch yet, but I'm pretty confident in the quality. Price is around $35/500g or $70/kg for their Signature Pork. Other flavors include Spicy Pork, Chicken, and Beef etc.
