Monster Curry - Singapore

The staff were friendly and efficient. Although there was a slight queue when we arrived, we were seated almost immediately. Our food arrived promptly after ordering, likely because we had come towards the end of the lunch rush. The portions are quite generous, perfect if you're really hungry, but also great for sharing. The dishes were served hot, and the karaage was delightfully crispy. Keep up the excellent work!

This restaurant offers extremely generous portions, with plates that are about four times the size of an average adult's palm, and the katsu curry is very affordable. It's a great dining choice for families and teenagers alike. The set meal is priced the same as the à la carte curry, which includes soup, a drink, and a scoop of ice cream for just $13.80 (for Pork or Chicken Katsu Curry). You can also customize the spiciness of the curry by selecting the number of “flames,” which correspond to the number of “hearts” drawn with hot sauce. I found that three flames provided a nice kick for my taste buds. On my most recent visit, I tried the Honey Toast for the first time, and it was toasted to a perfect crispiness with a delightful sweetness. We chose the matcha azuki bean flavor, which was tasty, although it would have been better if there were more red beans. Additionally, the matcha flavor was somewhat understated, likely because they used vanilla ice cream instead of matcha. Overall, it was still a reasonably enjoyable experience.

The table service was excellent. We ordered the monster curry plate for two, but I believe it could comfortably serve three people. The tempura prawns were crispy, while the fish was just okay. We added an omelette, but I think the egg could have been a bit more runny for a better texture.

Always wanted to try their food but as I'm not a big eater and the curry rice looks too much for me alone thus no chance. Didn't know they actually got burger set and decided to try it since managed to get voucher via ChopeDeals. The pork katsu is not really oily and it's quite huge (almost as long as my palm) though the picture says otherwise. Curry sauce blend well with the meat and lucky not overwhelming. Fries is crispy and unlike those thin kind. More like MOS burger but with crispy crust. Definitely hope to come back to try other stuff with my family when the number of dine-in pax increased.

A busy restaurant and service is still tip top. We had a big and delicious lunch.
