We had been in this restaurant by accident many years ago when passing through the Alentejo and had a good memory of their typical Portuguese dish called “ arroz de pato” (rice with duc prepared in the oven). This time we went there by purpose and again were charmed by the décor. We took the ”costoletas de Borrego” (lamb chops). They were very well prepared. The wine was a local red of good quality (Monte das Servas). But the big surprise came after lunch when the owner took us for a tour of his museum. A very interesting overview of an old flour mill. Well kept and complete. The place is also a small hotel. A really charming place with very original decoration using places and machinery of the old factory. Recommended for the food and the museum.
