The view from the resort is awesome and you can spend a good time here in a peaceful atmosphere. You can also take a boat ride around Jaysagar lake from here which costs Rs 200 /boat for half an hour. Take photos at the deck for which most people come here ,watch swans and wait for sunset views. It is a perfect place for organising events and wedding parties. Food and service is good. It's worth mentioning that entry into the resort is free .

We visit Shibsagar from Guwahati and quite by accident we came upon this amazing place. The main attraction of this place is the ambience. Located right next to the Joysagar lake in Shibsagar this is a great place to relax in the evening, watching the sun goes down in the waters of the lake. The staff were polite and the food was good. Lots of place to sit. Have outdoor kiosks and you can also sit indoor in the AC which also have great view of the lake as the structure is made of mostly glass which gives a great view of the outside and looks great at night with all the yellow light spilling out. The place is reachable by car but there is no parking spot in it, you will have to park your car at a little distance away. There are also many historical monuments near it of the Ahom era. So if you visit Shibsagar definitely do not miss spending your evening at this place.
