Bidra med feedbackThis place is amazing. To begin with it was established in 1807. It has changed hands a few times and finally has been restored to its original luster. You can see and smell history there. The ambiance is very nice and makes you feel lime you have traveled back in time. The view of the lake where we sat to have dinner added so much to our dining experience. We ordered a mojito and two old fahions. Drinks were very tasty and well made. We started with a very tasty french onion soup. Our dinner plates included the Sherwood burger, the fillet mignon, and the steak. The meats very cooked to perfection. Then we had coffee with creme brulee and ice cream as dessert. Our server Maya did a great job taking care of us. She was very friendly and professional and stayed on top of things to make our excellent dining experience that much more pleasant.
Great food with Great company. My husband and I were here for the first time and the food was really good. Loved the fireplace and also that they had a band on the other side
I went for a birthday lunch celebration, and everyone had a wonderful time enjoying their meals. Our waiter, Bennie, was attentive, friendly, and provided fantastic service, making the experience truly memorable. I will definitely be returning in the future.
We visited the restaurant to celebrate my son's engagement with his fiancée, and there were 11 of us in total. Every dish arrived hot and delicious. Our waitress kindly took a group photo for us, even as the dining room became busier. My son declared it was the best steak he had ever tasted. However, my daughter wished there had been more scallops in her dish, though she did enjoy what she received.
This restaurant always has a way of transporting you back in time, and that’s definitely a good thing. The staff is fantastic, and the ambiance is lovely. However, I was a bit let down by the dinner. The cioppino had sand in the clams, and the chicken dish appeared as though it had been microwaved. They really need to improve on that front. I understand that staffing challenges from the pandemic may still impact the guest experience, and I hope that my future visits will be more satisfying.
