Gostilnica Lyra Lyra - Skopje

We were at the lyra a couple of years ago when I started listening to Happycow, there by the end of 2016. It was a surprise to see its spacious hot lounge by a beautiful fireplace and with Macedonian folk music background. The waiter spoke quite well English and was very explanatory and understanding about what we asked. We tried several dishes (all vegans) and governed everything with its bottle of its best wine. After dessert and coffee the account went up to 20€, and it was only because the bottle costs 10€! all very delicious, in a few days we will visit them again and I will put another comment to update this. Update 22-09-2018: they have done it again, they have fallen in love with their beautiful garden and a very relaxing soft jazz background. I recommend it to the maximum. There are different vegetarian dishes in the menu and all garrisons are vegans and riquisimas. they have slightly updated prices but they are still very cheap.

While this restaurant may not exclusively cater to vegetarians, there are enough options available for those following a vegetarian or vegan diet. My friend and I, one vegetarian and one vegan, both found satisfying dishes to enjoy. The live music adds to the cozy atmosphere, without being too loud. Overall, it is a great place to experience traditional Macedonian cuisine, even for non-meat eaters.

I love dining at Lyra because the ambiance is fantastic and they offer a wide variety of vegetarian options. I tried the "Vegetarian Joy" which was a generous platter of roasted vegetables, accompanied by fresh bread. They also have a selection of appetizers and main dishes that are vegan-friendly. I dined with a friend who is a local from Skopje and she can vouch that the food is delicious!

I used to visit Lyra often when I was stationed in Skopje years ago. I have been craving their braided lamb ever since. My wife and I always had a good time there, and the live band added a nice touch to the atmosphere. Everyone was always friendly and welcoming.

Cozy atmosphere, delicious food superlative service. here's a must!
