The Blind Tiger Slidell

I was extremely excited to see this location reopened. The atmosphere is not as breeze and fun. As it was before it reopened. The cat fish taste like plastic, shrimp is over cooked, and the ranch had not had time to set; so it was watery.I had to ask for the biscuits that came with it. Then when it arrived to the table is was not warm, hard and not worth the calories. Extremely disappointing. I Completely wish, I had not come back for a new experience, bc it tarnished the original experience.

Had a great meal with my wife. The crabs were awesome and tasty. Service kept my drinks full and my shell plate empty. Highly recommend for a group with a large appetite.Food: 5/5

I was so excited for TBT to reopen! The new look is great but I’ll take the old look with the old food flavor. I love the Royal reds but not cooked in the butter. You use to get the seasoning like a shrimp boil and butter on the side and they changed the sausage to the old original instead of the improved smoke sausage they was using. Won’t be getting it again. The Tuna dip is proportioned less than before and so is the flavor. I will try it again as it is hit or miss. I believe that they sacrificed the flavor of the food for the look. Was disappointed.

I was excited about trying this place for the first time since the remodel. Unfortunately, I received a beer that was very clearly underpoured with the large amount of head present. The fried shrimp platter I ordered was overcooked along with the potatoes and wings I ordered. I don't mind crispy, but hard and dry is another thing. Disappointed to say the least, considering the bill for two people with two drinks was $80.

Dinner Saturday 7/8. Food was very good, much better than my last visit about 4 years ago. Menu and establishment were renovated. Fried catfish was pretty good, but I don't think it was a pound, like they said it was. Smoked Tuna dip was good. Good cocktails and pretty good service.It could have been a little cooler inside, but I would return.
