Nellie's Sweet Shoppe - Smithville

Some unexpected 80 degrees weather in February meant a trip for ice! This place is small but picturesque, and there is something special to suck the selection of steams, truffles and candy. My children chose their ice cream and brought them in side-by-side cones that I haven't seen for a long time! There is a green space right above the street, and we went outside to enjoy our cone in sunshine. I found this experience much more fun than a chain or go through ice rink. In addition, I feel happy to know that I support our community and a small business.

I just love this little old fashioned candy and fudge shoppe. The fudge is a little pricey for my taste but it's always a fun experience taking the kids to eye all the goodies and get some ice cream.

We love this place! Such a nice addition to the downtown Smithville area! Great fudge and ice cream! We had some awesome hot cocoa bombs a while back too.

Star on the Fudge. I was a fudge maker and I like My Fudge buttery and creamy. Their chocolates, coconuts, carmels [without nuts]. their candies are very good. so stop in their if in the area or order on line..

Wonderful staff and wonderful selection of treats! This is a quintessential spot for a summertime treat. Always love seeing the small town spirit radiate when I come here.
