Maru Sushi - Smyrna

The sushi selection is excellent. The lunch buffet offers a wide variety, with freshly made rolls being replenished frequently. There are also salads and several hot entrees available.

While there may be various factors contributing to this delay (such as DoorDash, new staff, it being a Friday night, etc.), that's not the main issue here. Our group spent over $200 and ended up eating Ritz crackers and a box of cookies afterward, since we were staying in a rental and had snacks for the kids. Honestly, I can say these were the smallest pieces of nigiri I’ve ever encountered—easily. My sister-in-law’s $15 roll was just embarrassingly small. To their credit, the food did taste good, but by that point, we were absolutely starving. What a disappointing waste of money. I wish I could chalk this up to a one-time mistake, but there's no way that many dishes could be shortchanged by accident. Just a terrible experience overall.

Great experience! The curbside pickup is on point and to make you feel special they give homemade ginger cookies for you to take home. Such a sweet gift! The sushi was delicious and we can't wait to return

This place is very good and we’ll known for its sushi. I would recommend trying some of the other options on the menu besides sushi. The restaurant is small but feels big due to its layout. They typically open for lunch and dinner only and can become very busy. The customer service is great and very helpful. They are typically knowledgeable about their menu.

Hands-down the BEST Japanese food my fiancé and I have EVER had. And we’ve had a lot of Japanese food. Complimentary cookies also delicious, please never stop making them!
