Beautiful surroundings in the garden. Good food. Nice service. Question. The traditional dishes were well made.

We decided to eat here as it looks like an authentic place specializing in Bulgarian cuisine and close to the Central Hotel Sofia, where we stayed. It turned out to be a jewel, as we both like to try new dishes and are fascinated with Eastern European flavors. There is a beautiful outdoor sitting area on the back of the facility that I recommend to choose over fairly dark inside. The whole place is held in a beautiful folk style with rustic decor, with gentle traditional music in the background. We ordered two appetizers and two rather small power supplies that were all delicious, as well as a few soft drinks. It has up to just £16 for the whole dinner. The service was decent and fast, they speak communicative English. Card payments are accepted. We highly recommend this place, we would like to see a day again!

As an American who was perusing down the main streets just filled with McDonalds and cafes, this place was the most authentic food we've had in Bulgaria. In just traveling with one other person, we thought the connoisseurs board was a light charcuterie but it was a kings feast of meats fit for a full family. It was literally like someone's grandmother in the kitchen whipping it up. Would def come again. It was fantastic. We had to take so much of our food home. Come hungry!
