This restaurant was a bit confusing at first. You go downstairs and see a freaky scary image of Einstein himself (hopefully you 'll get the same fright I got) and once you recover from it you realise you 're in a basement and everybody is eating Italian food. However the very friendly waitress suggested we sat in the next room and things got better there. The room is fully decorated in traditional fabrics and paintings. There is also a projector playing Bulgarian music videos on the wall. The food is fine, not spectacular but not bad either. We had a meat feast with loads of different cuts of meat like pork and lamb, some were fine others were a bit too dry and the side salad and potatoes was not adequate for the amount of meat. At one point a 2 man band started playing and people got up and danced traditional songs. That was quite good.
Underground level with Albert saying hello at the entrance. Lovely decor and quiet atmosphere. The menu has a large variety at very reasonable prices. I eat vegetarian there. Pizzas are good. Salads refreshing and some very surprising and comforting hot dished. I am definitely coming back!
Quick and efficient service even during the busy lunch crowd timing. The salad was a bit stale, hence the four stars. The attendant (Joan) was polite and professional
