Apna Dhaba - Solan

For more than 2 years it has been good with services and preparation. Today, although the waiter after 3 times to take the order, the waiter did not have the trouble to finally take the order, the Dhaba had to wait after 20 minutes,end to wasted... precious time. Be careful with the attitudes, behavior and beliefs of the people who serve you.

Ventured here for dinner since Club Mahindra food is the usual over priced standard fare. Attendant was very polite. Service was prompt enough. We needed less spicy for child which they made upon request. They also have half curd option. Cutlery crockery was clean to...touch (no oily residue). It isn't fancy or upscale but decent tasting North Indian food. Simple fare. Value restaurant (dhaba).

If you are in Kandaghat Mahindra resort and you really want to save HUGE money and want to enjoy real dhaba food then visit 800 meter towards Chandigarh (right side) from Mahindra. Must Try dal makhani, kadai paneer , mashroom masala, paneer bhaija ,...garlic naan etc etc . All you need to instruct : dost Mast chilli type banao... we had Breakfast, lunch and dinner from Apna dhaba. They have plates, katori every thing . Plates , glasses etc you’ll get from Mahindra. The food at this place is decent enough and you can give it a try. The starters are really yummy. Main course is so so.

This restaurant is at a vantage location and will not be missed by anyone travelling on the Kalka-Shimla highway. Has a reasonable parking facility too. However, for those staying at Club Mahindra and wanting to eat out, Meals To Go, which is very near, is...a better option and can be covered by foot. Apna Dhaba is not easily accessible for them.
