The Palace - Somerset

I attended a wedding at this venue for the second time, and I was once again impressed by the location and banquet hall. The service was excellent, and the venue itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained landscaping and buildings. It has a lovely, expansive atmosphere, offering plenty of space and comfort, along with a wonderful courtyard. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, there is a spacious parking lot, and they provide parking services as well.

The palace in Somerset Park. Our day was absolutely perfect! We had such a seamless experience from the first tour, sitting with Jose to check prices, booking the venue, Antonia as our planner, Ashley as our bridal visitor and not least David as our maître d’. Antonia was a good planner, any email I sent, any question I asked (crazed or not) she was very responsive and never let me hear more than a day back. Ashley was excellent and ensured that we were fed and cared for at any time. DAVID, he was the best! He calmed our nerves and all the last questions we had in the session you had the week of the wedding. He was beyond the attention, made sure that we had a drink in our hands at all times and the best time had been possible all night. My day would not have been so funny and immaculate without him. I chose the palace because it was somewhere my big family was never before and it was the best choice I met. Our guests are still running over the food and how wonderful the service was. I still hear about the sage gnocchi appetizer, the grouping main and most of the peppercorn encrusted fillet

The Palace at Somerset is in New Jersey it's a lovely, stunning, elegant and amazing place to have any special occasion or event I personally was there for my niece Brianna and Erik wedding the food that was served for the cocktail hour were all delicious many choices to choose from fish, Pork, fruits, sushi and bit more and the main dinner meal was good as well and to my surprise there was a pastries or dessert time it was incredible they had warm waffle with topping, brownies, ice cream and many other delicious choices to choose from as well the servers were very helpful and took very good care of you if you need help with anything and guide you in any destination you needed help with to and from The Palace

From the minute we stepped into this venue, we were in love. I knew from before we went there to tour that this was what I wanted, their winter pricing was spot on for us, so we went ahead and booked that day. Jose, our sales rep was OUTSTANDING and explained every little detail. When the time came for us to decide to postpone, they were nothing but understanding and worked with us to seamlessly move our date with absolutely no issues. I had the chance to work with Alexandra, the event planner, who was a total gem. She made sure to answer every question in such a timely manner and helped us to ensure every detail was spot on leading up to our day. David, our Maitre' D was absolutely PERFECT. Absolutely every detail was on point, he made sure we had everything we needed and that we were always comfortable. Throughout the night he constantly checked in to make sure we had fresh drinks, and that we had the chance to see the reception space and Venetian hour before everyone else. When I tell you the FOOD WAS SPOT ON.... it was OUTSTANDING. We are very very tough critics. Our family are big steak eaters so I opted to do a New York Sirloin with a light chimichurri sauce... this steak was probably 12oz, steak house quality, and cooked to perfection. HUGE PORTIONS OF FOOD. Our friends and family were blown away. People keep talking about the steak and the hand-pulled mozzarella station. TOTAL HIT. From start to finish, the Palace delivered tenfold on their promises to us. I cant rave about this place enough and the staff they have there as well. TOP NOTCH.

In the days leading up to the event, our entire bridal party and guests were impressed by how well he interacted with everyone. He remembered names and was especially attentive to our 4-year-old son, who clung to my side the whole time. The venue itself is stunning and offers so much, and the food is excellent as well. However, if it weren't for our contract, I might have considered canceling our wedding due to some discrimination we experienced from staff during the planning process. Fortunately, we didn't cancel, or we would have missed out on meeting David. He truly goes above and beyond to support every couple.
