Bidra med feedbackThe dining options in Yuma, AZ, are somewhat limited, particularly when it comes to cuisines other than seafood. A friend recommended this place as possibly the best spot for mariscos in town, so I decided to give it a try. Having a variety of other restaurants to compare it to, I can say that the food here was decent considering the local offerings. The shrimp tacos were average, but the standout dishes were the toritos (fried stuffed peppers) and the seafood chowder. The toritos had a great flavor on their own, and the accompanying sauce really enhanced the taste. As for the seafood chowder, it was simply delicious; there’s no better way to put it, and the addition of snails was a delightful surprise. In fact, I enjoyed the snails so much that I would have loved to have an entire bowl just of them, but I assume the chowder was made with a mix of other seafood. Our server, Stephanie, provided fast and friendly service, and all our dishes arrived promptly with minimal waiting time. The prices were also reasonable. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my lunch choice. I visited on May 30, 2015.
