Churrascaria Brasileira - Somerville

I've loved Brazilian steakhouses since my trip to Brazil, so I decided to revisit Oliveira's after a few years, this time bringing a friend who's never tried Brazilian cuisine. The atmosphere was quite eclectic, but I found the drinks to be overly sweet with not much alcohol content. Additionally, the cuts of beef were on the fatty side. I really want to enjoy this place, so I'm hoping it was just an off night. Now that I live here, I won’t wait too long to give it another try!

They definitely don’t hold back on the food! It’s all-you-can-eat, and they truly deliver on that promise. They continuously brought various steaks, sausages, and chicken to our table. I really enjoyed the wings! This place is fantastic!

We were seated in a corner and often felt overlooked. At one point, it seemed no one was coming around with the meats—two different servers ended up bringing us medium-well flank four times in a row while we didn't see any other options. Additionally, an elderly server who was clearing our plates informed us that we were no longer allowed to get our own plates from the buffet bar and had to wait for him to bring them to us. When we asked why, he simply said it was the rule. Overall, it was quite frustrating. However, it was a busy weekend, so perhaps he was just confused. Regardless, I wish they had better crowd control. There were times when the line for the meat counter got so long that it was difficult to access the salad bar. There were plenty of staff members around, but many seemed to be standing idle.

I went for a fun date night with my partner of one year. I've been to Brazilian rodizios before and have always enjoyed the experience. They really did not slow down with the meat here! You will easily get your fill. The meats were good and they had quite a good selection of cuts. A bit on the salty side. The salad bar had nice options too. We could've easily just done the salad bar and ate well. We went on a Saturday night and it was very crowded. Salad bar had a long line. Still, a good value and tasty food. We'll go back at some point but will need a break from meat!

I never expected this to be some of the absolute best steak I've ever had. Just writing this review my fiancé and I wish we were back there sitting at our table! Servers were extremely nice and explained any questions we had very well.
