The restaurant has a very cold ambiance with a spacious dining area filled with tables and benches. Our server was very friendly and the portions were quite generous. However, I found the pancakes to be too thick for my liking.
Great welcome and service, excellent orange juice, good Finnish bagel too, slightly average pancakes, decent filter coffee.
I was really disappointed with my last visit. Let 's just say that things have changed a lot in recent years. My spouse and I had ordered the Expert lunch which consists of 2 eggs, sausages, bacon, ham, creton, baked beans, potatoes, fruit and toast. Although the sausages were cooked ok they tasted weird, the ham tasted bland as if it had been over salted and left in water for a long time. The bacon was dry as if it had been reheated, the taste and texture of the baked beans was poor, the creton is not homemade (cup Olymel) and seems to have been thawed, for the fruit, a slice of unripe pineapple, an orange wedge and a thin slice of cantaloupe. On the other hand, the potatoes were very good, the cooking of the eggs correct and the toast correct.Being lovers of good coffee, we had ordered 2 lattes at around $5 each which were definitely not drinkable. It 's like preparing a latte with Maxwell House, it 's unacceptable! Ordering this kind of coffee, I expect good quality coffee, freshly ground, we took 2 sips and left the rest.We still had good service, it 's not the waiter 's fault.We left dissatisfied with a bill of over $60 with taxes and tip.The restaurant lost its feathers, they raised prices and cut quality.Personally, I have no problem paying when it 's worth the price.I do not recommend it.
