Cactus Café El Piquante - Sorel-Tracy

Very bad experience. had steak, chicken wing and fried squid. everything was disgusting. the place was dirty, full of bee and beetle, the dinge were fat.

This is a good excuse, what they should not eat and what kind of place they should not visit. beginning with the service it is terrible there it is not enough people to serve at the place. Eating is not just bad it is terrible, it tastes. as nothing or perhaps plastic, not serve well, they would not finish their court at all! only a terrible place with a terrible eating where the only thing they do is lose their time and money.

My friend and I enjoyed eating. there was a nice selection of sangrias. I wish there were better beers on the menu.

As a young man, the cactus cafe was the To-Go-to place in sorel, now known as Sorel-Tracy, the place was always jammed-packed, the server were young and sexy, the tex-mex eating was something new in the region and the owners were hot. I left the region many years ago as much as the many industries there and had not returned since my parents died eleven years ago, so it was in a mood of nostalgie that I returned with my good old friend mike and his partner julie. the first thing that met me on the way was the look of this once blooming city, it was a shadow of itself wrapped in poor, very sad. we finally arrived at the cactus; the front terrace was packed while the side terrace and the interior were empty, even if it was a nice, warmer party evening. the inner of the cactus had changed drastically, as I was there last; no medium, no visible kitchen, away was the intimate feeling, leaving space for standard tariff. the server, 100% female, were young and sexy, except for a few has-been employees who are more in-tune with an old-timers tavern than a juvenile bar/restaurant. after all it was eating and drinking just terrible; the bier was flat, the chicken wings were meatless and the sauce does not keep on big tex-mex places like fresh agave, the pizza was terrible, no pank what ever, just a big piece bad cheese about the thickest crust you can imagine the whole ding was terribly undercressed, but the fries were actually good. when we left the cactus cafe with a doggy bag, actually for the dogs, since I would never eat there again; actually saved my dogs by piercing it, we went for a walk through the city. as we walked through the sad streets, I started to feel a little uncomfortable and quickly began to look for bathroom. they can guess the rest. as a sorels economy over the years, just like the cactus caffe. stay away!

Good place to have a beer on weekends. Nice in summer when terrace is open. Don't miss the happy hour, 2 for 1!
