Franks Place - South Bend

The food was great! We had the bummy boom shrimp and bacon cheeseburgers, both of which were delicious, along with some tasty fries. It was a fun experience for the whole family!

Best bar food in South Bend! Frank's Place is a delightful spot run by the Nick Frank family. MaryAnn and Lowe are two of the best bartenders you'll ever meet; they remember your favorite drink and introduce you to new favorites. After your drink, they present the menu, which is fantastic. It's a must-visit during Notre Dame games—you won't be disappointed! Sometimes they even have live entertainment. It's a great place to meet and mingle if you're looking for company. However, for the safety of everyone, the parking lot at the back could use better lighting.

While staying in the city for the USC game, our Airbnb host, Frank, recommended this great spot for some fun. As soon as we walked in sporting our USC gear, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special thanks to Jazzamine, Michelle, and Jessica for their excellent service! We enjoyed it so much that we came back two nights in a row, which says a lot about our experience. We'll definitely be back for the USC game in two years!

Frank's Place is a cool local spot. A very cheery atmosphere, the patrons are amazing. Great to come and watch a game, play trivia or sing karaoke. The Chef is amazing because the food is comfort food prepared with rockstar status. The service is a little slow at times. Overall a must visit in South Bend.
