Bidra med feedbackMy only complaint would be regarding the lemonade order for my kids. It was served in very small glasses with ice, and while they were offered refills, we were charged for each refill. We were also charged for basic black coffee after dinner. For the price we paid, I would have expected non-alcoholic drinks, especially those tiny lemonades, to be included. Nonetheless, I would still highly recommend this restaurant.
As for the food, our experience was just mediocre. One member of our party commented that her beef carpaccio was dry. For the main course, I had halibut served on mashed potatoes, but unfortunately, I couldn’t see my plate thanks to the pitch-black surroundings. I can only imagine how unappetizing the white fish on white potatoes must have looked. Is this really what they teach the chef/owner at the Culinary Institute of America? The price was $75 per person, plus tax and tip, which felt steep considering the lack of quality and comfort. On the plus side, the drinks were good and the service was satisfactory. The view from the patio was lovely, but it faded quickly as daylight disappeared—something beyond the owners’ control. Perhaps they should think about moving diners inside as the days get shorter. Ultimately, we won’t be returning.

For appetizers, we enjoyed three hors d'oeuvres: bruschetta, lamb chops, and arancini, all of which were exquisite and beautifully presented on trays. The main course featured a summer salad, bread, and three family-style dishes: tagliatelle bolognese, risotto milanese with shrimp, and fettuccini carbonara. For dessert, we had ice cream filled with fruit preserves and coated in chocolate. Mark and Kim were incredibly accommodating to guests with special dietary restrictions. The menu was perfect for us, the atmosphere was delightful, and the evening could not have been better. I can't wait to return for more of their amazing food and outstanding service!
