Kroger Bakery - South Charleston

I stopped by on a whim and it will be my first and last visit. The employee would not sell me his assigned liquors because he was saving them for himself. I really hope his manager sees this. What a ridiculous waste of time!

The store is clean and well-stocked, with tidy bathrooms and a friendly staff. It's a fantastic location to check out!

I had scheduled a Kroger pickup for 1 PM, but my voicemail pickup was changed to 3 PM. When I called at 3 PM, I was informed they were running late. At 3:20, they told me my order would be out shortly, but I ended up waiting until 3:28 and was told it would be another 15 minutes. I watched as cars that arrived after mine were getting their groceries. I called the manager, but they just transferred me back to the same person who reiterated the 15-minute wait. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my order and left at 3:53 PM.

This is my go to store. I’ve shopped here for many years. The store is clean, well stocked and the employees are friendly. I do ClickList weekly now and am very pleased with the prompt and courteous service.

Went at 6am as soon as the doors opened to try and go with as little people in the store as possible. Almost all store associates were not wearing a mask. They weren’t even trying to pretend. The meat guy had his hanging around his name badge. The pickup shopper didn’t even have one in site. When calling management their only response was that they aren’t required to be in the store that early. We left as soon as we realized. Go to Walmart. They a true force their policies.
