Dimitri's Artisan Sandwiches

I ordered a Teriyaki Sesame Chicken Sandwich, when I took my first bite and the flavors exploded in my mouth and I knew that this would not be my last visit. My partner had the Gyro and exclaimed that it was the best he ever had. Finally we have found our spot in the Daytona area! Highly recommended!

I've eaten here several times and my favorite is the Chicken Basil Pesto and the close second is the Italian Combo. I have loved everything that I have tried. The sandwiches are grilled and served on a ciabatta roll and are huge and comes with a choice of 3 sides. The menu selection is quite large and the food that I have tried has always been out of this world! Great Gyro's too!

Absolutely the worst gyro I've ever had! The meat was greasy from the grill and overcooked. Gyro meat is supposed to be tender and flavorful, but this was crispy and lacked any real taste. After taking just one bite and being overwhelmed by the strong flavor of the onions they used, I put it down and walked out. $9.79 later, I’m left wondering how they stay in the Greek sandwich business!

I've tried Greek cuisine in many places, but this was by far the worst experience I've had. Everything was overcooked and lacked flavor. I was charged $5 for a side of Greek potatoes, which were totally bland. The gyro meat was burnt and dry, and the rest of the dish was just mushy!

If you're in search of genuine Greek cuisine in a laid-back setting, you simply have to visit Dimitri's. Their homemade spinach pies and delectable gyros are outstanding. I’ve also tasted their veggie cake, chicken soup, and Greek salad, all of which are incredibly tasty. This place has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Daytona Beach. And don’t be misled by the drive-thru window; this isn’t your usual fast-food spot. The owner and chef prepares everything from scratch, and all sandwiches are made to order. The counter service is both fast and friendly. For a straightforward yet fantastic dining experience, make sure to eat at Dimitri's.
