The White Hart - South Derbyshire

We chose here for a small gathering of colleagues/friends for a works Christmas party. We had the room upstairs which was the perfect size, gorgeous decor, comfy chairs. We could use an Alexa for background music and drinks available downstairs at the bar. We were able to order in pizzas for delivery which was great and a cheap option between us all. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A great night had by all

We visited this pub for dinner. It's very much a locals pub, everyone turns around when you enter. The pub is quite old fashioned inside and has a snooker table and dart board. The drinks are an OK price and quite a lot of variety. We visited for dinner to be told the chef was sick, so they were not serving food, the lady was quite abrupt so it has put me off visiting again.

On going in the pub had a sterile feeling, albeit early pm. No warm welcome when being served and worst of all the beer was not right I know I should have complained but after the sips we left. We would have eaten there but went to the super Malt Shovel instead

This pub is just down the road from us, and the food here is amazing. They do the best pies, ever. The owners are great, Tash is lovely behind the bar and the food is honestly to die for. You do have to wait a little while but the homemade food is soooo worth it. Gorgeous puddings too! The chef also made my birthday cake, and as you can see was also amazing. If you're looking for good old fashioned pub grub at VERY good prices, you need to visit The White Hart in Aston.
