Been coming to Country Maid for years on and off whenever I am working in Ivybridge. They used to supply our work lunches and they were the best. I love the toasted baguettes and panini's, mozzarella pepperoni and devon fire chutney wins usually, but they used to do a beef and stilton as well which was incredible. do NOT miss the iced apple and sultana slice... sometimes I buy two just so I have one for the next day. Yummers.

While on vacation in the area, we made a spontaneous decision to stop by County Maid on our way to the beach to grab some pre-made sandwiches. We were originally heading to the supermarket, but the variety on the County Maid menu caught our eye and we couldn't resist. With such a wide selection to choose from, we had a hard time deciding. The prices were also quite affordable.

Will make on the spot what you request with good sized portions. Staff friendly and helpful. Pleasant change from chains.
