Dartmoor Diner - South Hams

We hadn't been to the restaurant in a while because of COVID, so we were eager to return for a late lunch. To our surprise, it was very quiet for a Saturday afternoon. However, when our food arrived, we had to return 2 plates due to poor quality control (one even looked like it had been burned by a microshaft). The desserts were delicious as always, and we may return just for the coffee cake, but we won't be ordering hot food again.

The restaurant is located in a very cozy spot on the outskirts of the moors with ample parking. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. There is a small garden for enjoying meals outdoors when the weather is nice. Despite being located by the road, the restaurant still manages to create a pleasant atmosphere with limited outdoor seating options.

This wonderful restaurant offers excellent service with incredibly friendly staff. They offer delicious food at a great value, making it the perfect place for a family meal.

Not bad but kind of just deep fried stuff and prepared roast dinners. I asked for a straw and they gave me something that looks like the exhaust of a boy racers car! Well, more like a milkshake straw rather than the drinking straw) Friendly and nice staff kept everything pleasant
