Bidra med feedbackThe Poole Quay is always a great place to visit. Lots of options on the menu and the food is good, reasonably priced with friendly staff.
Located on the main high street, this delightful bar is a popular spot with a friendly atmosphere. The bartender, along with a group of regulars, were welcoming and accommodating. The bar offers a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff, especially the blonde women behind the bar, were incredibly rude. When my 3-year-old daughter ran into the pub attracted by the flashing lights of the fruit machine, I was trying to get her out when a woman inside screamed at me and asked if the child was mine. I confirmed that she was, but the woman then proceeded to question if I was drinking in there. Despite my response that I was not, she still insisted that I remove my daughter from the premises. I understand that children are not supposed to be in a bar, but I was appalled by the way she spoke to me. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, and it is clear that this is not a family-friendly establishment. I suggest avoiding this place if you have children who are attracted to flashing lights. The fact that the pub was almost empty except for one person at the bar, who seemed to be a friend of the staff member, speaks volumes. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and shocked by the treatment I received. This restaurant is definitely not recommended.
Visited here to escape the rain on a day trip to Totnes. The lady serving was lovely and in between serving customers was constantly wiping tables and politely reminding customers to sanitise on entering. A nice afternoon and would re visit again if in the area
What a lovely little pub. Very accommodating as we wanted to watch 2 live games at the same time and it was not a problem. The tribute was a lovely ale and the patrons were really friendly. Recommend highly as they seem to have a good local clientele and atmosphere.
