The Horseshoe - South Kesteven

Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime for U3A Tenpin Bowling Christmas lunch, for 12 guests. Pub looked very seasonal and service was good. Most people were pleased with their meals and crackers were pulled though not all of them snapped! Two of us ordered Beef Short Rib but it was very fatty and disappointing. Some vegetables were only just cooked, very al dente ! The fish cake and other starters were excellent however as were most of the desserts and the main courses. A few finished with a decent coffee. Parking: Decent size park but only one Blue Badge space.

A lovely buffet here following a funeral service nearby in Peterborough. It was a very peaceful, warm and inviting place with a chance to chat in super surroundings. Thank you. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
