Kalani's - South Lake Tahoe

Food and service were great. When making reservations on open table the only availability was outside. Went to restaurant in person the day before reservation to request indoor seating if possible. There was no problem making the change and the hostess was surprised only availability was outdoors. Possibly a setting needs to be changed?

They allowed us to add people to our reservation the day of. They placed tables together and had our table ready when we arrived. Unbelievable menu, the food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We all ordered something different and everyone cleaned their plates! Cannot wait to go there again!

Had Sunday Brunch with some out of town friends. we were all impressed by the quality of the service and the attentiveness. Food was very good with generous portions. Highly recommend making reservations well in advance for the weekends as they tend to get very busy. Kudos to the waitress who was training a new person.

Excellent in all categotries! The rolls are carefully prepared, nucely presented, and delicious. All the fish entrees are perfectly executed. Great place for a simple meal or an elaborate dinner.

We were disappointed from the last time we ate there 2 years ago. The menu has changed appetizer selection from the last time we were there was very limited. I don't like sea weed so I asked for soy paper instead for a sushi roll and I was informed they no offer that . We won't be going back unless they sharpen up the menu . Our service was great !
