Food - South Lakeland

I used to be a loyal customer of this restaurant for several years, but I will not be returning due to the rude behavior of Phil. I typically spend £10-£15 per week at this establishment, but I cannot continue to support it. Additionally, I have noticed poor staff hygiene practices, such as handling food and cash with the same gloves. Despite bringing this to their attention, the issue has not been addressed.

Get here before 4 pm and get a fantastic selection of fresh locally produced ingredients, but get ready to queue to enjoy something tasty baked at home. They specialize in homemade baguettes with generous fillings but also have delicious empanadas and baked potatoes and Frittata with all cuts for about 3 pounds and I swear that after eating Frittata said more than 20 times that I have only finished it twice. Nuff Said!

I understand that some food companies are afraid of people with food allergies, but I have no allergies, I only asked if the baguettes contain milk because I prefer not to have it. The managing owner wouldn't even engage in a conversation, just said he couldn't help me. The waitress even said the baguette box said there was no milk. I couldn't be bothered and I didn't want to deal with that. Bad customer service.

We pre-ordered our staff lunch from this restaurant for National Day and it was absolutely amazing. The pastries, sandwiches, and sweet brownies were delicious and kept us satisfied. We can't wait to try more from here. Thank you!

I am surprised how some people are credulous, this place is seriously overrated.While I accept that the sandwich filler is better than those of the chains produce in mass on the high street, the place is disappointment with small rations filled with baguettes and quite abrupt helpers.That they clearly have a base of customers who are willing to pay for a baguette and filled to be served by collaborators, that they choose a store with a different fight
