Bidra med feedbackThe food at this restaurant was the worst takeaway I've had in a very long time. If you're looking for fast food, I would recommend going somewhere else.
It has been 3 years since I last visited this restaurant, and now I remember why. I ordered a mixed kebab and it was the worst food I have had in a long time. The donner meat was tough like rubber, the chops had a bad smell, and the chicken was not good. Even the meat was chewy like rubber. The chips smelled like old oil that needed to be changed. I ended up throwing all of it in the bin. The total cost was £14.60, and I would rather have given that money to the homeless. If I ever eat here again, it will be too soon. Flames, the nearby chippy, is 100% better without any swearing. I am worried that I may get sick from that meal.
The best chicken kebabs in town can be found at Conti. We always enjoy the food there and highly recommend it to anyone.
Stopped on the off-chance there were gluten-free options on the menu. There weren't although the staff agreed to let me have the shish kebab with chips instead of wheat flour pitta bread and pay £1 extra. My husband had a Cumberland sausage ring and chips which he enjoyed very much. My inlaws always use this chippy un Ulverston.
I used to go here and remember it being good. Staff are nice to chat to and it looks clean But I’d say don’t waste your time and going to join the queue at the chippy round the corner is your best bet for edible food The chips were under cooked and slimy. Sluggish frankly. The pizza had a very odd selection of toppings which all tasted horrible together. So bad we couldn’t finish it. I felt sorry for my bin when I put the remains of the pizza in it. Free garlic bread good tho !!! But saying the only part of the meal we enjoyed was free says it all
