Shimmy Shack - South Lyon

Ordered a vegan and gluten-free chocolate birthday cake with peanut butter cream. It was delicious! This is really the place for vegan and gluten-avoiding people to go to really pamper! I also love the funky retro decoration in the diner. The cake was definitely on the pricier side tho (over $40). Nevertheless, I am grateful that there is a 100% delicious vegan and gluten-free place. I wish they had a coffee shop/diner in Ann Arbor!

Sooo good! And how refreshing to order practically everything on the menu, as it is all gluten-free vegan! I had the falafel pita and the chili cheese fries, plus a strawberry jam cookie for desert! Adorables Café, low cost, cruel free goodies and wife owned???? What is not to love!

Chocolate dairy free shakes are sooo good there's no way you will miss the dairy! Add some sweet potato fries and you'll be as happy as the super friendly Debra that serves you!

We had our first experience at Shimmy today, and we can't wait to come back! I ordered the classic burger (single), while my husband went for the double. We shared half sweet potato fries and half regular fries, along with both dipping sauces (Shimmy and garlic). The burger was delicious—sloppy in the best way, and just perfect. The patty, bun, and condiments were great, although I think some extra pickles would make it even better next time! The fries were fantastic as well—cooked and seasoned to perfection. The dipping sauces were delightful. I also picked up a cowgirl cookie, but I haven't tried it yet because I’m so full! And just to clarify, no animals were harmed during my indulgence. We're thrilled to have your brick-and-mortar store just down the street from us—welcome to the neighborhood, Shimmy Mama!

The food was incredible! It was my first experience with a complete vegan meal, and I was truly impressed. The classic burgers, sweet potatoes, and mustaccioli were excellent choices.
