Cute, small store but it has everything you need! Pricey, but probably appropriate to location and clientele as they have high quality items and prepared foods.

I absolutely adore Citarella. Even though this Southampton location was quite busy on a rainy afternoon, we managed to complete our shopping without any issues, and the checkout line moved swiftly. The products and produce at Citarella are always beautifully arranged, making it a paradise for food lovers. You can find exceptional olive oils, peak-season produce, and pretty much anything your heart desires for delicious meals. Citarella also offers ready-made meals; my mother in the city is a huge fan of their Salmon Wellington. I didn’t check if they have it here, though, as we were on a mission for dinner. We had already purchased crab cakes, along with fresh corn, salad, fresh lemons, and I also grabbed some fresh ginger for my juice. The store is quite spacious and easy to navigate. There’s a quiet intensity in the air as customers carefully select their items and gather at the checkout. It feels like a temple dedicated to food.

This is a fantastic spot for lunch! There are plenty of options to choose from, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Be sure to give it a try!
