Turned up to find out the kitchen was closed despite having a booking. The staff were helpful but were very young inexperienced. Glad we didn't have food as friends of ours got food poisoning. Wouldn't recommend here at all.

Very young staff who seemed to lack much experience in working within such an environment. Our booking when phoned through was noted on a scrap of paper and when the staff member was asked about it, he just shrugged his shoulders and said uh? . The menu is of the usual easy to cook and quickly to serve standard. The food did get served quickly however it looked better than it really tasted. Will I eat there again? No. . There are other establishments within easy walking of The Old Farmhouse which off far superior catering and service. It 's a shame Greene King, you missed the mark with this one.
