Bidra med feedbackHad the MOMIJI set for a birthday celebration. The standard was well below what one would expect for the price of $120 per head. The dishes tasted no better than the typical shopping centre Japanese restaurant. Service was good and ditto the ambiance, which is really what you're paying for. Similarly priced options in the CBD such as Kisume and Izayaka Den are fart superior. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–120
Foie gras is the best, fresh lobster grill and miso also unforgettable !
Really good Japanese food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–80
Went for dinner with 2 other friends and it was all our first experience at Koko. The food came out quite fast, service by one of the waitresses was fantastic and unfortunately I didn't get her name. However she stated she was Malaysian. I remember her because we had ordered hot pot and 4 other dishes comprising of mains and one side plus 2 add-ons for the hot pot. We were about to order a salad until she gave us advise that we had alot more food incoming and she wasn't wrong! I wish the younger waitress had warned us but she didn't. The hotpot was more than enough for 3 people although I don't regret ordering the rest of the dishes as they were delicious. Atmosphere was great, lighting a little dim for photos however again the waitress knew what angles to take and to turn the flash on! Thank you to this waitress for being so friendly, polite and thoughtful for the dining patrons. Will definitely be back! No photo of matcha ice cream but it tastes like the one that's sold at Woolies tbh..
So we visited Koko last night. Awesome to get a place last minute, sitting down for teppenyaki. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere great, and the cook and the food was beautiful....however was it worth $150 per person??The staff were hit and miss, overly attentative at some stages, and then left us sitting for ages at others.Desserts were served for some, while others had to eventually ask if we were getting dessert... the bill was given to some, others...well we waited$150 per person is the starting point, and to be honest, you are disgustingly full by the time you walk out.... I think for the location the atmosphere it is worth it however for the food alone...better off trying other great places. All in all, 2.5 hours of culinary delights that you wouldn't try normally elsewhere or cook at home, but I don't think I will be attending on a regular basis.
