I absolutely adore this bakery! The cakes and cupcakes are incredible, and the quality of the food is unmatched in the area. They made Paw Patrol cupcakes for my son's 5th birthday, and they turned out fantastic; we received so many compliments! Their cakes are truly out of this world. I highly recommend this place!

The decor is rustic, featuring wood floors and furniture, complemented by an open-beamed ceiling that supports the balcony above. A duo performing live music with acoustic instruments in a cozy corner of the main dining area added to the ambiance, providing an enjoyable backdrop to our visit. The diverse crowd included groups chatting, individuals working on laptops, and people playing chess, all contributing to the lively atmosphere. The menu offers a nice variety of baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. We tried a couple of scones (coconut pineapple and berry) and a salt bagel with veggie cream cheese. The scones were good, though slightly inconsistent—the coconut pineapple was moist, while the berry scone was dry and crumbly. However, the bagel was outstanding. We paired our food with some good quality coffees, which were enjoyable but not extraordinary. Overall, this was a lovely break in our day. While it may not be a destination coffee shop or bakery, the quality of food and drinks exceeds average, and the charming atmosphere makes it worth stopping by if you're passing through.

I chose a rainbow cookie, a raspberry crumble bar, and a ham and Gruyère croissant. Everything was delicious! I especially loved the rainbow cookie, which featured layers dyed in various shades of pink for Valentine's Day. You don't come across (good) rainbow cookies every day around here, so it was a delightful find! I highly recommend Southbury Baking Co for their delicious and beautifully crafted sweet treats!

I'm so happy to have tried out this place! When I walked in and saw all the delicious looking goodies behind the glass and they shimmered as if they were jewelry in a jewelry case I was blown away. And then I tasted them.. OMG heaven! Absolutely delicious and everything looks spectacular. I have so many gift ideas that I want to make happen from here and there is just something about receiving yummy baked goodies like this that just feels so special. If you haven't been here, you absolutely must go.

This was by far the best cake from a bakery I’ve had. Everyone complemented on how great the quality was. Usually cakes can be overly sweet but this was perfect and the chocolate was very indulgent! Definitely found our new go to place for cakes/desserts. Cathy the owner was amazing and was quick to respond to all my emails. Highly recommend!
