Logan's Roadhouse Southgate

Real question What can you recommend vegetarian?... then she laughed. Lol .. she offered 4 sides for $8.99 sold.. In fact it was indeed feel like a full meal. I knew I was coming to a barbecue restaurant, but dint want to be that fuzzy guy in the group. But i wish they had at least one variety of vegetarian meal, something like veggie burger. Friendly staff, well maintained interior.ample parking. Free roasted peanuts. :

I've been going to Logan's for years. Mostly great food and service. My wife once worked there also my sister years ago. As of the last 4 months I haven't been back and don't plan on it. On my anniversary there was a seating issue which was not our faults and we were not aware about it. After being seated with our new born I was approached my a manager named Aaron Bennet. He rudely told us to get up. We were confused and he said we can't sit ourselves. We explained that we didn't and the waitress told us to sit here. He proceeded to call us liars and removed us from the seats. I respected his decision even though he was wrong and was rude I obliged but I did attempt to have a civil conversation with him as he was escorting my family to the front door. An argument started between him and myself, he was very rude and aggressive and even stepped in my face and insulted me. It took everything not to match his immaturity at that moment and I took the high road. I proceeded to leave with my family after speaking with his people leader briefly. My wife was very upset because she knew people that worked there and managers. I decided to call corporate. Which I've never done in all my years of visiting restaurants. Logan's needs to take a serious look at management personnel and leadership capabilities before making the decision to put someone in the position. If I was a hot head that could have turned really bad. Needless to say I won't be back after that experience.

Logan's in Southgate is decent, but not outstanding. My husband and I visited for Easter dinner and ordered battered mushrooms, steak, mashed potatoes, and corn, along with some complimentary biscuits. I had a cocktail while my husband opted for a beer. My blueberry cocktail was supposed to come with a lime wedge, but that didn’t happen. The mushrooms were slightly overcooked, and there seemed to be a shortage of staff, as the waiters were constantly darting around the dining area and appeared to be overwhelmed. We plan to return another time when it’s not a holiday to see if the service improves.

A big shoutout to Skyler for the exceptional service! She had the Chicken Fried Chicken smothered in white pepper gravy, and it was delicious. We've visited a few times this year and enjoyed the great prime rib they offer on weekends, as well as their truly fantastic half-pound burgers, which are a personal favorite. We usually go for a late lunch when it's less crowded, which is nice. It's wonderful to see this place make such a strong comeback after shutting down during COVID. The food, service, and bar were below expectations. I can make dry, microwaved ribs at home. This experience was very disappointing for my husband and me, especially since we rarely have a night out together, and it was marred by poor everything. I had to leave a star rating.
