So. Good. The manager was great and gave us recommendations. The hand shaken pina colada was the best one I've ever had. We LOVED the ceviche appetizer(especially the smoked trout). The salsas were so unique. The manager was amazing ... even if the server was just meh. This is a must eat at!

Chips were fresh, thin and crispy. Small house margarita's are $9 each, brisket taco plate was good but thought the brisket could use some smoke flavor.

Have dined here previously with mixed results but our recent experience was outstanding. Will definitely return, hopefully for a repeat performance!

If I could rate the hostess only, I would only rate her. We use open table to book reservations. We booked Herencia 25 minutes before the time because we were close. The time was available so we were good and it was booked. The hostess was so poor in the way she handled it. She said we needed to book an hour in advance in the future. She was rude. We were then seated by the kitchen where you could see everything that goes on. We almost walked out. So disappointed! The only good thing was the waiter was good so that service was helpful. We won’t go back. Unfortunate. That experience alone was enough to make us walk away discussing it. Waiter was good. There is a better way to handle it when you are in customer service.

If you want to maintain social distance of six feet I suggest you go very early, or order take out. By the time we left at 7:30 all tables were occupied with less than six feet between tables. There was no heated outdoor dining option. Our waiter was friendly but not very knowledgeable about bar drinks.
