The Farmhouse Bistro - Spearfish

Our first time there while visiting in the area. Its a 2 story, modern decorated slim building. got seated quickly order came reasonable on time. However our waitress was more interested in waiting on 2 guys that came in after us than taking care of us. She visited them 2 to 1 when we needed re fills, etc... Also its rated on Google but we feel is should be at least for the amount of food for the cost. The food was good but not great.

So glad we settled on The Farmhouse! We sat outside for a lovely dinner looking out toward the creek. Our server, Michal, was friendly and attentive and we enjoyed not one, but two of her namesake margaritas. My French Dip sandwich was delicious (very little fat in the beef yay! , and my companion enjoyed his burger. We loved the sweet potato fries! I forgot to take a pic of the chocolate truffles... We highly recommend this dining experience!

A bit loud place. We were there Tuesday evening and for some reason it was really loud. I can definitely say that this restaurant is popular, there were just few vacant tables to sit. It is pretty new and clean. Staff was friendly, but really busy, because of amount of visitors. Food was good, i expected something more after reading reviews about it. We ordered Puerto Rico chicken and Penne Putaneska. I think we will be back and try their burgers.

Very good food and an interesting menu. High end sandwiches, burgers, and finer dining options. We had the tuna and the duck as entrees and poutine as an appetizer. Definitely going back. Our server was awesome. Food was fast and fresh.

A very nice little bistro! We expected pricing to be more based off it being called a bistro, but everything was reasonably priced. Fabulous outdoor view through the many floor-to-ceiling windows! We went for Sunday Brunch, I had the brisket benedict while my husband had the breakfast burrito. Food was great and cooked well! The hollandaise was a bit too lemon-y for my taste, but I wouldn't take off a star for a personal preference. The only thing that may have been a little disappointing was that my eggs were poached hard, but I didn't mind as I'm not a huge runny yolk fan (shocker coming from someone who ordered a benedict lol). We'll be back next time we are in the area!
