Chef King - Spencerport

The staff at this restaurant is amazing, but unfortunately the food is not up to par. It used to be the best Chinese food in town, but in the past six months, the quality has severely declined. The egg rolls tasted spoiled and everything else was just not good. I believe that they are capable of providing better quality food, as they once did. I have faith in them as they are wonderful people. However, we will be taking a break from dining here for a while. The service was for takeout.

What a rip-off. Got a couple orders of the fried pork wonton, and they were tiny with almost no meat in them, maybe 1/2 tsp at most. I often order them from another place incidentally called Chef King, but there must be no connection, because the ones from Lyell Ave are big, meaty and juicy, with easily more than a tbsp of meat. These wontons were rock-hard, practically nothing but wrapper, and even more expensive than my usual place. The dumpling sauce and hot oil were both very sub-par. This place is a scam masquerading as a restaurant. Stay far away!
