Just love this pub, great bands, great atmosphere, friendly people, good beer and cider, what's not to like.

Great little pub fantastic live music plus karaoke, staff always very friendly

Great venue for rock music and good company. The main rule is simple. Talk to people and you'll be made welcome. £3 a pint; of fosters and £1.50 for a toastie. Pool table and lounge area if the music is a bit too loud for you. Staff are fabulous and that makes any pub a great pub! Will call again to see Mickey Crystal on 19th June. Back again in January 23. Same rules apply. Talk to the local rock folks and just enjoy New Breed Revolution were amazing! Mixing up Stevie Wonder the Beatles, Sabbath and Rainbow and so many other bands very impressive stuff.

Usually don't like rock bars but the penny gill is amazing. Good beer amazing atmosphre and friendly regulars too and staff spot on too feels like you are at home

Not for everyone but love the vibe and rock music; proper old school rock bar with live music.
