Salt Pepper - Spirit Lake

I placed a takeout order at this restaurant and when I arrived at the designated time, the food was already cold. By the time I got home, which was only 10 minutes away, the food was soggy and almost inedible because of the texture. We ordered French dips and found the portions to be very small for the price we paid. Unfortunately, we will not be returning as the customer service was also lacking.

We are already making plans for our next visit! We had the pleasure of being served by the owner, who is a truly wonderful person. The food was absolutely delicious and we cannot wait to return soon.

Took mom here for her birthday! Great food, great Lil place to eat..she had fish and chips w the tots and I had the Cobb salad. Very good and nice portions!!

I have been here a handful of times. The times I have been there, the food was just ok. Nothing really stands out from what I have eaten there. The service is great. I don't see myself ever going back.

We have came here twice since our visit in spirit lake and I have to say that everything from the service (thanks Charlie) to the food was amazing. We come up here every so often to visit family and I must say this restaurant has QUALITY food. The Ambiance has a nice warm welcoming feel. We tried the Cheese steak, cheeseburger, the special of the day ribeye steak with horseradish butter and potatoes (YUMMMM), chicken and waffles, pulled pork sandwhich, French dip sandwhich, and their sides included tots, salad, fries, and Mac and cheese. All were delicious and felt like they put love into it. I will say I wish the house side salad had more veggies but that isn 't a big deal. Hope they can open up a few more joints like this in town for the locals. We will be back every time we visit. Thanks salt and pepper!
