Portofino Steak Pasta Seafood - Split

OK Toni, the excellent waiter will know that this is an understatement. This restaurant was 20 steps from our apartment and was always busy. The service and food was rightly excellent. The highlight was the excellent Risotto and the excellent Caesar salad with the succulent shrimps. Toni deserves a special mention!!

What a beautiful place! We had a fantastic meal here (I should say our best meal in Split)! I have Salmon Wellington and my daughter have the Risotto. The service was great, I liked that they had reservations and the portions were good. I suggest enjoying a meal here!

Can't recommend this place highly enough. Nestled into a side street, it opens up into a beautiful courtyard among the gorgeous buildings of Old Town Split. Great for a special occasion. Gazpacho, cheese plate, pasta, and lamb were all top notch. The cheese plate really was a standout.

Portofino was fantastic. One of the best dining experiences of our trip. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. They were full and said they couldn’t seat us outside, but when we arrived they had added a table outside just for us. The owner/manager also was very kind and attentive. There are lots of average restaurants in old town Split, but if you’re looking for a truly memorable dinner this is your place.

I never do reviews but after eating three times ! at Porto Fino I had to. The food is amazing! I have never eaten so good in a restaurant. Also a big thanks to Nina and Tony who welcomed us warmly and made us feel very comfortable. The service was excellent! Very polite and professional. Nina even watched our Baby Boy so my Husband and I could eat together. We have never experienced such kindness in a restaurant! Again, thank you so much!
