We really enjoy dining at Twigs and the Calamari appetizer is always a hit! However, during busy times like restaurant week and Valentine's Day, it's important to make sure they don't run out of food, especially desserts. Since we dined later at 8PM, they had already run out of Creme Brulee, which was the only gluten-free dessert option available.
The check-in process was efficient. However, the service we received was below average; we had to inquire about our drinks 10 minutes after placing our order. The server attributed the delay to a busy bartender. The bruschetta flatbread and my wife's prime rib sandwich were enjoyable. On the other hand, my fish and chips were mediocre; the batter was too thick and the portion size was small. We tried to order creme brulee for dessert, but were disappointed to learn that it was out of stock. Despite our Valentine's Day reservation at 6:45 p.m., it was surprising that the dessert was not available. Another couple at a nearby table experienced an issue with their order and had to involve the manager. Their plates were taken away and they were given a complimentary bowl of french fries. We are unsure of the resolution, as we left soon after. Overall, there are better dining options in Spokane than this restaurant.
